Algarve Hash House Harriers (A3H) is a 'drinking club with a running problem' founded in 1984 (originally the Almancil Hash House Harriers, renamed to represent the wider Algarve ~2014). It runs fortnightly across the hills and villages of the central Algarve — a ~12 km runners' loop and ~8 km walkers' trail marked in flour by a volunteer hare, followed by a beer stop and social circle. Largely an expat community; runners run, walkers walk, everyone's warmly welcomed. On On!
