This is an A to B trail with optional bike/train back to the start. Taking transit or biking to trail will save you possibly going the wrong way before you go home after circle. WHEN: Sunday June 15th, High Noon WHERE: Green Lake Park and Ride (near Roosevelt Light Rail station) https://maps.app.goo.gl/eydF5R2H1SGpHZuTA GETTING HERE: Take the train, take the bus, ride your bike, they’re all great options HARES: Butt and her trusty steed Raxy COST: $5, plus cold hard bar money for some of the beer checks WHY: I’m almost always the only one biking to the hash, so come try biking and get lost on some nice and bikeable roads and hills around Seattle. We’ll get drunk along the way because biking drunk is way more fun than driving drunk. So ride your bike to a train, take it to trail, and get dronk in the summer with your bestest of bashing friends EXPECT: 12 miles true trail to circle, plus 8 bike miles back to start if you don’t want to take the train or go home from the end. 4 beer/cider/wine drink stops to get your legs tired, and your mouth yapping. Mostly nice bike lanes+paths and checks at the bottom of Seattle’s lovely hills. Good views. BRING: A bike that mostly works, your father to fix it when it breaks, a vessel for liquids, a helmet, proof of age, orca card, knee pads or other cute bike accessories.
