Location: the end of Waianae valley Road in Waanae. Also known as the Mt. Kaala Hiking Trail , 21.475280,-158.152219 The W3 Hash or WWW Hash stands for Walls, Walls, and Waterfalls. There will be pre-contact walls, post contact walls, modern walls and at least one waterfall. The hare is Teenee Weenee. Unfortunately, OpSex, Smutnek had to make an emergency visit to the mainland for a real estate transaction. Teenee anticipates laying a trail with no bad trails, no intersections, no Numbered Check Backs backs and maybe only a few Singapore Back Checks. He anticipates very one finishing at the same time by staggering starts. The Turkey Trail is shorter and turkeys can spend more time at the beer check / Waterfall and then return the way they came. The Eagles will have something after the waterfall, but hey, it's Wednesday when I'm writing this. Hopefully the beer checks will be in place by the time early starters get there (maybe 2:00?). Eagle/ Turkey start time will be at 3:27 (check-in at 3:00). Eagles should bring whistles so that others can find the trail. You may remember previous trails from this starting location going up the long, hot, dry, boring, cement road. That will not be the case Saturday. The hare can't promise cool breezes everywhere but the trail will be mostly shady i.e. junglely. The trail is A to A and there is limited parking at the start so carpooling would be good. In addition, this section of the island has a very sharing community. If you have something they want, they will share it with you. If you want to help Teenee hump beer into beer checks Saturday morning, call him soon at 808-389-6486. Otherwise expect Hazakashi Style Beer checks on trail with maybe five beers per beer check. Bring $10 for hash cash and a whistle and a rainbow. If you have questions or can help, Teenee's number is already listed above.
