Comment: Make sure the marathoners can complete the final two miles by handing them beer! How To VolunBeer: Travel: The earliest road closures start beginning at 5AM (see here for the official travel advisory), but our section of the course starts getting affected nearer to 7AM. Start Time: Arriving around 7AM will allow you to offer the very first r*nner beer-- they usually start trickling through around 7:30AM. We've had takers in the top ten before! But assistance is appreciated throughout the morning, we start getting steadier crowds after 9AM or so. Dress: It is chilly in the morning, but can warm up. As always, bring layers and sunscreen! On After? To be determined, but usually a group will navigate somewhere afterwards to recuperate.
