Damn, it's hot! Due to the weather, we're changing things up a bit. A nice, short trail that skips the big hill climb and adds more beer! Total trail: around 3 miles. There's a little shiggy hill at the start, but we'll lay a Turkey/Eagle split so you can skip the hill if you like and still get all the beer checks. The start will be at Fachwerkhaus de Porno: 5915 Weaver Lane, or 5914 Weaver Street. Bring Deutschmarks ($) and ID. PARKING: Will be a bit challenging. Park along Meridian or Aldama Streets, about half a block's walk. If you're really lucky, you might find a space on Weaver Lane or Weaver Street, but don't count on it. Get out your Lederhosen or your Bavarian Bodice. It's Oktoberfest time! Come hike the Bavarian Alps of Eagle Rock and Highland Park with your hares, Porno Queen and Henry Wankler. Plenty of good German beer will be along the way, and you might even hear some yodeling. Dog- and stroller-friendly. * One short portion will require help with baby-joggers.
