DH4 #1677 Bonfire Hash (Run/Walk) Date: Saturday, November 7, 2026 Time: 3 pm Location: Beamer's House, 1231 Beaver Valley Rd, Dayton, OH 45434 Take the driveway to the back of the house and find a place to park. Sign-in, drink a pre-lube beer and hash! Cost: $10 for beer drinkers. Otherwise, $6. Free for first time hashers! Hares: Beamer & 50mm Hash Trail: This is a 4-ish mile A-to-B trail with a medium amount of woods (shig). Hashing in General: This is a fun run or hike where you will follow a trail of flour not knowing exactly where it will lead. One or more beer/water stops along the way! In hashing you'll will be running/walking as part of a group. The faster runners will be out ahead looking for flour marks on the ground trying to figure out which way the trail route goes. Sometimes they go the wrong way which allows the slow runners/walkers to catch up and even get ahead. This allows everyone to go at their own pace and stay together as a group. Dogs: Allowed on trail and circle. Leash is required. Must be friendly to people and other dogs. Children: Adults only for first time hashers, since many of us do drink beer. 😋 Otherwise 18+. On-After: We'll stay at Beamer's house. Bring a towel for hot tub and extra food to share...maybe any specialty beers you might have.
