DH4 #1673 DAI Oktoberfest Hash 🥨🍺(Run/Walk) Date: Saturday, September 26, 2026 Time: 4:00pm Location: Liberation Park 790 Ferguson Ave, Dayton, OH 45402 https://maps.app.goo.gl/gLrJQuyXY8QA9LQo9 Park in the small parking lot. Sign-in, then hash. Cost: $8 for beer drinkers. Otherwise, $4. Free for first time hashers! Hares: Saran and Noodle Hash Trail: Trail is the typical A-to-A, 4-ish miles, mostly urban with low amounts of shiggy. There are some steep traverses that the hares will graciously provide. Afterwards, we'll be attending the DAI Oktoberfest. Hashing in General: This is a fun run or hike where you will follow a trail of flour not knowing exactly where it will lead. One or more beer/water stops along the way! In hashing you'll will be running/walking as part of a group. The faster runners will be out ahead looking for flour marks on the ground trying to figure out which way the trail route goes. Sometimes they go the wrong way which allows the slow runners/walkers to catch up and even get ahead. This allows everyone to go at their own pace and stay together as a group. Dogs: Allowed on trail. Leash is required. Must be friendly to people and other dogs. Not permitted at Oktoberfest. Children: Adults only for first time hashers, since many of us do drink beer. 😋 Otherwise 18+.
