DH4 #1672 Springboro Oktoberfest Hash (Run/Walk) Date: Saturday, Sept 12, 2025 Time: 4:00pm Location: 50mm's house, 355 W Factory Rd, Springboro, OH 45066 Pull up the dirt/gravel driveway and park in the grass. Sign-in and hash! Cost: $8 for beer drinkers. Otherwise, $4. Free for first time hashers! Hare: 50mm Hash Trail: This mostly urban trail has a length that remains a mystery, even to the hare (3 to 4 miles most likely). It's A to A, with small number of optional beer stops along the way. Bring money and ID on trail. After circle we'll walk over to the Springboro Oktoberfest, which is a short distance away and enjoy the festivities. Hashing in General: This is a fun run or hike where you will follow a trail of flour not knowing exactly where it will lead. One or more beer/water stops along the way! In hashing you'll will be running/walking as part of a group. The faster runners will be out ahead looking for flour marks on the ground trying to figure out which way the trail route goes. Sometimes they go the wrong way which allows the slow runners/walkers to catch up and even get ahead. This allows everyone to go at their own pace and stay together as a group. Dogs: Allowed on trail. Leash is required. Must be friendly to people and other dogs. Not allowed in festival. Children: Adults only for first time hashers, since many of us do drink beer. 😋 Otherwise 18+. On-After: Springboro Oktoberfest! Springboro United Church of Christ, 5 West Mill Street 45066. It's a short walk from 50mm's house. Entrance fee is $5. Make sure you bring your ID! Things to bring/wear: Whistle you never blow Bring ID on trail Hash mug or a free plastic cup.
