Celebrate 40 Years of Absolut Hashing! We had our 30 year celebration on the boat Birger Jarl in Stockholm 2016. The 40th anniversary we will kick off with a pubcrawl in Stockholm and for the main event on Saturday we will take you 15 km south of town. We have done over 1000 hashruns since the start. The venue is an outdoor park, open for different events such as music, dancing and more. Om Stortorpsparken. There might be other people passing through the park since it is an open public place. Directions From Stockholm Central Station you take pendeltåg / commuter train number 43 towards Västerhaninge. Travel 5 stations to Trångsund (17 min). Exit at the front, turn left, and follow marks to the On Inn. It's 1 km and will take about 8-10 min to walk. Look at SL: Kollektivtrafik Program Wednesday 26/8 (separate run and not in rego) A regular underground hash run Thursday 27/8 (separate run and not in rego) A red dress run with charity Friday 28/8 16:30 – 18:00 Registration at Hirschenkeller (one free beer or wine). 18:00 - ? Pub crawl 7-8 pubs (12-15 hashers/pub) on Södermalm in Stockholm. Pay as you go. Info: No food, grab something to eat on the way. There might be some vodka shots on the pub crawl 😊 Saturday 29/8 11:00 – 12:00 Late registration at Stortorpsparken at Trångsund (15 km south of Stockholm). 12:00 Chalktalk. Walkers/Short and Medium/Long trail. No showers after the run but the trail will end by a lake. 15:00 Circle. 16:00 – 18:00 Relax, take part in some games and drink. 18:00 Dinner. 20:00-23:00 Live music mixed with DJ. Dancing & socialising. 23:00 Music has to be turned down. Theme: yellow and blue. It will be a swimstop during the run and it might be good to carry a small backpack with extra clothes and a towel. Sunday 30/8 11:00 - ? Hangover run in the city (in Stockholm). 12:00 - ? Circle and good byes. 13:00 Lunch at your own expense if you want to eat. Fee will be 750 SEK (70 EUR) for the weekend.
