Beer Mile follows the International Beer Mile Rules: A Beer Mile involves drinking four 12oz beers (minimum 5% ABV) and running four laps (1 mile total) on a track, starting with a beer before the first lap and finishing one beer/lap in a transition zone, with the key rules being no shotgunning/tampering, finishing the beer before the lap starts, and a penalty lap for vomiting. The Basics Four Beers, Four Laps: Drink one beer, run one lap, repeat four times on a 400m track. Transition Zone: Beers must be consumed in a designated area (usually 10 meters) before starting the next lap. Start: The race begins with drinking the first beer in the transition zone before the starting line. Beer Specifications Volume: Standard 12 oz (355 mL) cans or bottles. Type: Must be beer (fermented, hops, malted grains). ABV: Minimum 5% alcohol by volume (no hard cider/soda). No Advantage Containers: No wide-mouth bottles or modified cans. Rules of Consumption & Running No Tampering: No shotgunning or puncturing cans (except the tab). Finish Before Lap: The entire can/bottle must be empty before you exit the transition zone. Show Empty Can: Hold the empty can overhead to prove it's empty. Vomit Penalty: If you vomit, you must run one extra lap. The Eagle Challenge will follow the same rules except for the following: The beers will be 20oz Imperial Pints. No penalty lap for vomiting.
