Celebration of Life Hash Run for Jeff “Walking Small” Miner Sponsored by Friends of Walking Small H3 What: Hash Run and Post Run Celebration of Life for Walking Small When: Saturday, April 18th. Show by 10 a.m., Hares off between 10:30 and 10:45 a.m. Cost: $10 USD . Cash ONLY! No Venmo, Zelle, or Paypal will be accepted! Go to your ATM and get a $20. Amy McMarathon will be collecting, making change, and signing you in. After all expenses are paid for, any remaining monies will be given to Small’s wife, Mooner, to help her with cremation costs, etc. Where: Artifex Brewery, 919 Calle Amanecer, Suite A, San Clemente, CA 92673. Important notes: Artifex is the On In after the run, with food, beer, seltzer, water, soft drinks etc. and Down Downs and Open Mic celebration for Small. Come prepared to share a story about Small, if you have some. THE RUN START IS NOT AT ARTIFEX AS THE PARKING IS LIMITED, AND WE HAVE HALF THEIR PARKING LOT SET ASIDE FOR OUR EVENT. THEREFORE, WE ARE STARTING AT THE PARKING LOT BELOW ARTIFEX, WHICH IS A QUARTER MILE WALK FROM ARTIFEX. The start is at the Pacific Pointe Corporate Center, behind the last building in the corner, where there is a lot of open parking. Directions to the start: Take I5 south (from OC and LA) and I5 north from San Diego and exit at Avenida Pico. Go inland from the freeway (away from the big blue ocean thing) and head to Calle Amanecar (signal) and turn right (up the hill). Turn right on Calle Negocio and into the corporate plaza. Drive all the way to the back of the plaza behind the furthest building. Look for the hash there. Again, DO NOT PARK AT ARTIFEX BREWERY! Trail: There will be a regular running trail (3.5-4 miles) and a walker trail (2 miles). There will be two beer checks (shared with both trails.)
