Hares: False Advertising, Zone 2 & Crotch Fire Date: July 25th Time: Noon (On the water by 1PM!!!) Location: Busse Woods Boating Center Hash Cash: $10 (This is Second City, we drink good beer and eat shitty food). PLEASE RSVP. IF YOU DON'T, ITS PBR FOR EVERYONE! RSVP Time to break out those inflatable kayaks you got for Xmas, or dust off that old canoe in the garage for a Second City Kayak Hash. This is something we've done previously and its been great fun. A few important points. RSVP 1. The location will be Busse Lake Boating Center. There are a bunch of entrances around the lake, be sure to check the map and enter the right location in your GPS. We will meet up by the public boat ramps to the left of the rental center. B. DO NOT SHOW UP UNLESS YOU HAVE A KAYAK/CANOE OR HAVE MADE PLANS TO RIDE WITH SOMEONE ELSE. Unfortunately, Cook County sold their boat rental concessions to a private operator. Now rentals are $20 an hour instead of $20 for the day (boo Capitalism!). We know lots of you have kayaks and canoes, some of you more than one. Note in the comments if you are looking to be a second/want a second on someone's canoe or have/want to borrow a kayak. C. Please show up at noon. Give yourselves time to inflate, unload, etc. If you don't RSVP and show up late, I'll post the B. There will be a vague trail on the water. A B and circle on land, and probably a flotilla B. Things to bring: Footwear!! There will be a B and there might be something resembling a trail on land. A dry change of clothes Plan on everything you bring with you on the water getting wet (including your phone). I will have a dry bag with extra space.
