Sox: Looks like we've gotten into a holding pattern with 14 attendees the last 3 weeks of runs. Today was a beautiful day. Glad we had an afternoon Full Moon (Blue Moon though no moon yet & never Blue) start to enjoy the sunny weather. SS greeted us kindly, had simple marks for us & soon we were off heading west on Plainfield Ave. Then SW on Westfield Ave, East on Cedar Ave, through Scotch Plains HS property & then various checks at residential intersections. Some were marked with checks, others not (which became Sox's favorite type of check, the "Implied check"). No worries for the Eagles as we had enough of us that the fasties were screwed up enough searching for trail that by the time they found trail, the slowies had caught up. After 4 miles of this, we hit paydirt in the only 25 yards of offroad for the day, the Beer check. Then, On In about a mile further with some hashers taking the shortcut there. PD was the only one not to make the Beer Check in what is his home territory. Eventually a few of us grabbed chairs and relaxed in the shade, until Circle was moved in order to hide the Hare from her potential classroom students hanging out in Fairyland park, quite near us. BS ran a short circle, One Lost Seoul & USCw/o a Purse in circle for their new clothing line supplied by the world interhash and then half of us were on to Stage Coach for food. Nice Sunday afternoon trail.
