Log that you were at this run.
Sox: What a nice day for the 7th Annual Boogie with Loogie run. As opposed to all of his previous sets, this WAS NOT in South Orange! A large pack including 6 from NYCH3/BH3 came out for this one. No one should be disappointed (except the hare when he figured I'd actually not followed trail exactly). We immediately headed downhill from the start behind Embassy Suites & surprisingly led by Cocksprey and Beez (BH3) into the woods and along and repeatedly in to Green Brook towards, you guessed it- Watchung Reservation. But the trail avoided all road, sticking to the brook and going through 3 or 4 tunnels before arriving in the Res. But here we continued along the brook. That is until Cocksprey (1st timer here) found the J check. His Sprey was spent, while Cheeky, Beez & Drop a Pin led us up, over & eventually to Seeleys Pond for a wonderful Beer check. Lots of food options (yes we saved a burrito for Deranged) & we hung here for quite a while. Meanwhile, unbeknownst to us, Massengil & Luke Fairy had arrived late & chose to wait for the pack to finish. They had a long wait. A rather lengthy circle commenced with most all of our songs covered (& many newly created by Beestiality/Beez) before the hare announced that pizza was on the way. Park & Ride arrived just in time for the food with his bag of ice (mint julips anyone). The 23-1 horse came from dead last to win the derby today. 70-1 finished 3rd. Who knew? On out. AE: The hash was graced with a large NY contingent that Superspreader picked up at the train station. It was a lovely day for a creek walk. And the trail crossed the creek and under bridges countless of times. The walkers, the racists, and the feeble hearted took to the roads. Cocksprey handed AE an empty bottle from the J-check at Seeleys Pond. So cavalier. After that AE and Just Gypsy were pretty much alone on the rocky trails. Eventually found the beer check and there still was some delicious bean tortillas from the cucina of Sassy. We saved one for Dera
