Sox: Lots of recovery going on from the New Years celebrations I suspect. Yet 17 turned out for this cold but clear Saturday Full Moon run. We didn't actually see the Full Moon until we left the On After. By then it was high in the sky and had a certain frost covering to it (it seemed). Our hare gave us the usual rendition for chalk talk, held the chickens back for short cutting purposes & sent the Eagles off, up the hill & into the Speedwell village with a tour of Lazy Asses prior residence from 10 years ago. Then up to Alfred Vail school, a check and then onto Sander Street. The next check slowed us down without sufficient marks in any direction. At this point, Hop decided to go straight regardless. No longer seen until we had won the hash & back at the start. Meanwhile chickens & Eagles were together, eventually went the right direction w/o marks but Sox found marks on a parallel street, leading to the Beer check. Interesting choice of BC since it was exactly in gront of a police car. Soon after we hit Burnham place, then Patriots Path on in along Speedwell Lake (solid ice the last 1/2 mile & yet no hash crashes). Circle led by HOP around a frozen puddle where Two Timer received the majority of down downs for a second hash in a row. The on after at Tiff's (just 1/2 mile away) was attended by 8 of us- a nice place). AE: If you did think there was enough ice at the New Year's Hash, NoGen delivered more icy trails on the 3rd at Speedwell Park. As all the hares were veterans there was minimal chalk talk and off the pack went much slower than the speed of a telegraph. The Eagles were given a tour of Speedwell village while the Chickens took the short boring route. SOS and just Penny doing 360's on most of the checks. We finally arrived at the Beer Check where we tried to recruit the Pink Jeep Princess and her Dad (appropriately carrying a beer) but they couldn't stay. The Beer Check as Sox noted was located right in front of the police chief's car (fortuna
